An artist sighting in the wild! (Taken at the Beverly Hills Wilshire Hotel)

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood…

A cheerful and macabre soul with a love of all things weird and wonderful.

I grew up on healthy diet of cartoons, comics, and music, intermingled with an esoteric love of all things odd, otherworldly, spooky, scary and fun. My main inspirations are Studio Ghibli films, Sailor Moon, Over the Garden Wall, Gothic literature and any sci-fi that ends with '“punk.”

Cryptids, folklore, monsters, mythical figures and things that go bump in the night are my kindred spirits.

In 2017, I discovered vaporwave and synthwave, and started a music mix channel called SoulSearchAndDestroy. Through this amazing music community, I created a second channel, Voyage With SoulSearchAndDestroy to discuss trend forecasting and interview musicians. Good times!

I received my BA in visual arts and writing at Bennington College in 2016, and my MFA in Sequential Arts (comics and storyboarding) at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021. Between graduations I lent my talents to various projects and developed pitches of my own.

I moved to LA with a suitcase, a dream and a lot of hope to start a life in the animation industry. One thing lead to another, and a job as a freelance artist and writer led me to become a movie, comic and TV reviewer for Comic Book Resources. Now I traipse through the City of Angels, to interview writers, artists, directors, producers and actors.

I have a bunch of ideas and a hunger to collaborate on the next big film, TV and media venture in the ever-changing landscape. Bring on the future!
